34C have used different resources all week to help us learn about square numbers and to practise counting in 8s.

This week 34C have started a new unit on multiplication.
Year 3 have been looking at multiples of 4 and have been using lots of differemt resources to practise counting in 4s and help learn our 4x tables.
Year 4 have been using cubes to learn about square numbers!
the year 3 children in 3/4C have been using their knowledge of 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4 turns to direct a robot around a track they had made. We had such fun!
Today, we've been scanning QR codes to send us to web pages about hard life at sea, the wheel house and lumpers. My class and I have fun whilst also working hard. We had to produce the information we found in a booklet too.
Today we had a great afternoon looking through some old newspapers. We read many stories where trawlers had got into trouble and had even gone missing!

3/4S have been using Keynote to create a presentation recounting their visit to the Fishing Heritage Centre last week.
They have used their literacy work to promote and advertise the Centre to others.
Today we played fraction games on the wipe boards. WE WERE FANTASTIC!
