In preparation for our growing topic next term, we have planted some fruit trees which were kindly given to us.
The fruit trees have been funded by the East Coast Community Fund and delivered by the East of England Apples and Orchards Project, a registered charity. Orchards for Schools provides schools with their own heritage fruit orchard and the teaching materials to enable them to get the most from their fruit trees.
We have planted 2 of the trees in Connar's garden, 2 on the school field and 2 in the quad.
