Year 5 had an important afternoon of learning when they were joined by Humberside Fire and Rescue experts. We were told about the important of basic fire safety and how it was essential to not try and fight the fire but to get out safely.
Miss Cochrane's class had much fun learning about gravity and making parachutes in science!

5C worked in teams to design and make model boats from cardboard.
Year 4 had a day to remember as NELC Music & Performing Arts Service Present 'Megastra' The School's Prom. We sang a variety of songs including 'We Will Rock You' and performed 'The Kraken' by Hans Zimmer on the cellos.

Yesterday, 4C had a totally amazing day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. We got up close and personal with insects, lizards and lemurs and saw polar bears, lions and tigers!
4C have been growing plants, here are our sunflowers. I wonder how tall they will grow?
